Dell Streak 5 – The Hardware

The Streak has a capable GSM/HSDPA Qualcomm radio in it. It’ll operate in quad-band GSM or in one of two 3G HSDPA modes (source: gsmarena ) depending on your carrier and firmware. It’s weird, but I actually think the Streak was a bigger hit than my iPhone 4 which, from a hardware angle, is decidedly sexier, in my opinion. People asked if it was a phone. With Froyo, the Streak works as a wifi hotspot as well so you can use it to power a portable personal network. Even some of the tech-jaded people in California on a recent visit would take a look and ask about it and give it a whirl. Having used some terminal clients remotely, I can say that the connection is perfectly acceptable. The Radios. The build quality is certainly an order of magnitude higher and I can buy a decent case for the iPhone. I even ended up in a conversation about Android with a non-techie friend who showed me her phone when she recognized I was running the same OS and Launcher as her....

Either the cable from the LCD on the motherboard is loose and needs to be reattached. You have to take apart some of the laptop to get to the port.

Scan it for viruses with Microsoft Security Essentials (free download), and I'm pretty sure the lock with the A's caps-lock.

My dell laptop battery indicator light is flashing red/orange 4 times then back to blue once?

This started a few days, but it does not seem that my battery is weak, although I prefer the computer still takes the normal amount. I leave the computer to die completely, but it did not go away. Any help?

Sounds like you need a new laptop battery for Dell laptop.
I suggest you return to Dell's service station and see them do it.
