The frame is obviously reflective, and when there is a light on nearby and the frame is turned on there is a light reflection from almost every angle when looking at the frame. The angle of view isn't that large. If the frame is used table top the reflection is unavoidable (due to the vertical angle not being parallel to the wall), when the frame is hung on the wall, there is still a reflection, but it could be avoided a little better.

My understanding of ring flashes it that they are not “add-on” flash units. The two I had a few years ago, I utilized for shooting macro, not portraits.

I use one particular or two incandescent lights when I shoot style and glamour photography.

Here is the Nikon macro flash and you can see that is is not dependent upon both a SB600 or SB800, but independent.

As for the flash shoe being bent, that depends first of all if you are going to be shooting with flash and secondly, if the shoe will still trigger the flash.

I would also ask myself, if the flash shoe is bent, does this mean the camera may have been dropped? If so, you may find that it is not only the flash shoe that is bent.

I’m also considering getting a macro lens, but I was wondering if the 100mm has more advantage over like a 40mm one – since the price difference is pretty big. They all seem to have similar f-stop. I’ve never used a macro lens and is fairly new to photography, so don’t quite understand the difference without further explanation. If you can share your opinion/understanding that would be wonderful!

The Motorola Droid 4 was released on February 10 at a retail price of $199, and is exclusive to the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE wireless network. The 12th handset to arrive on that wireless system, the Motorola Droid 4 delivers Google’s Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread operating system out-of-the-box. That Google integration includes Google Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Picasa, Google Talk and Google Search applications preloaded. With a side sliding five row full QWERTY keyboard, the handset is slightly heavier than the average 4G smartphone, but average in size and design.
